A five-star resort hotel complex of 260 rooms with its own Marina
Village, Tennis Village and Health Club. The project occupies Ephraim
Island which is connected to the mainland by private bridge. Arrival
is both by boat on the canal and automobile. The buildings are organized
around an interior canal which separates the hotel buildings a central
island which contains the major swimming pool and related facilities.
The Tennis Village is self-contained facility organized around formal
gardens. A sand beach is accessible from the Health Club and provides
access to the Broadwater for water sports. The marina serves both
hotel guests and transient visitors to the island. Complete design
and budget responsibility for 14 million of landscape work. Design
input on all aspects of site work. Coordination with U.S. and Australian
consultants. Preparation of various design development packages with
illustrations and sketches for presentation to the owner.
