Henderson, Nevada Civic Plaza and Water Street Redevelopment This unique urban design project has received numerous awards for design excellence and community support for it's flexible uses. The Civic Plaza is part of the Municipal Complex including City Hall, Convention Center, Emergency Services Facility and Detention Center. The Civic Plaza and Water Street are joined in a seamless connection from shopping, restaurants and casino to urban center event staging and Veteran's Memorial. The components of this project were new colored concrete sidewalks, red sandstone paving, street lighting and traffic signals, site furniture, landscape and fountains. Estimated cost: $4 million.
