Consultant to
developer for preparation of landscape plans and construction documents
for a high density 186-unit apartment complex in the San Francisco
Bay Area. The singular challenge of the project was the transformation
of an intricate network of courtyards, walkways and terraces and much
of it over structure, into lush, identifiable and personal spaces
– creating a rich and intimate landscape on limited land. Winner
of AIA House and Home Merit Award, AIA and Sunset's Western Home Award,
and Urban Design Case
